Spring has sprung! We are welcoming the warmer weather and fresh flowers with new project collections!
Join us in the studio where we are creating artwork full of happiness, colour, and fun! Just like Spring!
A group of bunnies is called a ‘fluffle’! In the spring you’ll find all kinds of baby animals!
We have created our April workshops to celebrate baby animals born in the spring. If you love cute and cozy animals, you will really enjoy creating the Tea With My Little Friends tea cups and Best Bunnies handbuilt sculpture.
April 21 is also National Tea Day—and nothing’s better than sharing a cup of tea with a friend. Creating is always more fun with friends too, so grab your fluffle and hop on into the studio!
Spring welcomes warm air, longer days, and blooming flowers. We have a new collection featuring projects that celebrate the happiness of spring!
Be inspired by an artist who loved wearing and painting flowers, and create your own Frida Kahlo Trinkets box. Or come to the studio ribbiting with excitement over the Froggies clay jar.
April 22 is Earth Day—A day to celebrate nature. As the first bees of spring emerge, we want to celebrate the happiness nature brings with the Keepin’ The Hive Alive collection!
This month, be inspired by the famous gardens of Claude Monet, and create your own garden while painting the 14″×14″ Monet’s Garden project. Or create the Bee’s Knees clay vase fit for spring pollinator flowers.
Looking for a shorter workshop? Spring right over to these April shorties!
Be inspired by the colours of a spring garden and paint, splatter, and get messy with your very own Garden Splatter painting. No Experience Required! Or choose to sculpt your own Little Fella companions fit for tiny gardenscapes.
No, you must book 2 workstations for 3 people under all circumstances.
Please no observers. Every person attending the workshop must be a paid participant.
Once you get in the studio and start creating you will see it is like a time warp! Time flies when you are having fun! As you would expect, it is really hard to know exactly how much time you will need. Every artist is different and often you may want to practice a bit before making your final piece.
But! You don’t have to complete the project in one sitting. In fact, some cannot be completed in one day. Often clay needs to be fired in the kiln before you can glaze (paint) your art. Each project has a recommended booking time and how many visits are required in the description.
Book as many days and times as you like. You have 1 month to finish each project. We will hold the project for up to 30 days from the first time you booked. After this time the step by steps and instructions will no longer be available.
*Projects must be picked up within 2 weeks after the 30 day booking period.
You are welcome to book glaze multiple items at a time. Glazing time is $15/hr. You can glaze more than one piece during your glazing booking, time permitting. Maximum 2 dip glazing pieces per hour of booked studio time in order to cover glazing and kiln costs.
For example, if you book an hour glazing, and can finish glazing 2 pieces from 2 different building or throwing sessions in that hour glazing session—that is great!
Please understand in order to cover professional glaze and second firing costs we are not able to credit or refund unused time if you are able to finish glazing early.
Yes, $17 per piece plus tax if you would like us to glaze your clay for you. This is not available for hand glazed, decorative pieces.
